The Starter Batch
- About 2 giant legs
- Best first taste or small dinner
- Cleaned half shell, fork ready
- No broken 1 lb leftover cuts
Wild Alaskan king crab legs, cleaned and split to the half shell, roughly 1.5 lb per leg, blast frozen at peak quality. Sold direct by the wholesaler who used to supply the trade, at $85 per pound. Orders are built in clean 3 lb batches so you can buy 3, 6, 12, 18, or 21 lb without odd cuts or leftover broken pieces.
Every order is the same wild Alaskan king crab: cleaned, split to the half shell, roughly 1.5 lb per leg, and blast frozen. We sell in 3 lb increments because that is how the batch breaks cleanly. If you were thinking 20 lb, 18 lb or 21 lb is the clean checkout choice.
Catches have been low for about five years, so premium shipped crab is still expensive. Buying direct gives you a better home-sized option without pretending every bulk case is overpriced.

Nationwide
Our founder spent years as a king crab wholesaler, moving up to 10,000 pounds a week to the restaurants and distributors you already buy from. He knows what quality crab looks like at the dock, and he knows exactly what everyone marks it up along the way.
Here is the honest picture: king crab is scarce. Catches have been low for about five years, and premium shipped crab is still expensive. We can't change the catch. What we can change is how many hands touch your crab before you do.
Same crab. Same cold chain. One less markup between the boat and your table.
We buy the way a wholesaler buys, clean and split every leg to the half shell so it is easier to serve, blast freeze at peak, and sell direct to households in clean 3 lb batches. We are not trying to beat every warehouse case on raw bulk price. We are making premium crab easier to buy without the retail markup or an awkward leftover-cut problem.

Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, 8 to 12 hours, in a tray to catch drips. In a hurry? Seal the legs in a bag and submerge in cold water for 30 to 45 minutes. Never thaw at room temperature or in the microwave.
The crab is cooked before freezing, so you are just reheating. Steam thawed legs 5 to 7 minutes, or bake at 375 F for about 10 minutes with butter and garlic. The half shell cut means the meat lifts right out with a fork, no crackers needed.
We ship from California anywhere in the USA. Your crab goes out blast frozen in an insulated box packed with dry ice. Choose the shipping method you prefer in the form, and we will confirm the safest method and exact cost before upfront payment. Nothing ships until payment is complete.
Pickup is free in Gardena or Costa Mesa, by reservation only (no walk-ins). You will receive the exact address and pickup window when your reservation is confirmed. Bring a cooler; the box comes out blast frozen.
We deliver across LA, Orange County, and San Diego between 11:30am and 7pm. Same-day requests need to be in by 9am; otherwise we schedule you for the next available day (we are off Sundays and Mondays, though large pre-orders can still be arranged). Northern California runs are scheduled as orders come in; reserve ahead and we will confirm your delivery day.
Every leg is cleaned and split to the half shell before freezing. You are not paying for shell weight you will throw away, and at the table the meat lifts straight out with a fork. It is how restaurants prep king crab for service, done before it ever reaches you.
No middlemen. Our founder wholesaled king crab to restaurants and distributors for years, so we buy at the wholesale level and sell direct to you. Specialty shipped sellers often run well above $100 per pound, while warehouse clubs can be cheaper in larger fixed cases. We charge $85 per pound because the offer is direct, cleaned to the half shell, and sold in clean 3 lb batch increments.
Payment happens after the batch size, delivery or shipping method, and final total are confirmed. Orders are paid upfront before procurement, packing, or shipping.
We are publishing one high-intent guide every week to answer the questions buyers ask before they reserve: how many pounds to order, local pickup, frozen shipping, thawing, reheating, gifts, holidays, and price comparisons.
Inventory ships from California. Choose the batch size, destination, and preferred shipping method, and we will confirm availability, cold-chain cost, and upfront payment by text or email.
